We are excited to announce our upcoming conference with Jeanne Magagna, PhD, Tavistock Centre-trained Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychotherapist

Dr. Magagna’s work emphasizes the transformative power of observing babies. She honed her observation skills during her three years of training with Esther Bick, the originator of infant observation and also over the five decades she has taught this methodology worldwide. Her vast experience also enabled her to explore a variety of applications of observation in different settings. She is well known as a substantial contributor to the field of child mental health. We will be treated to a lively exploration of her approaches in this regard to her work with premature babies and their mothers in a NICU; to babies at risk for autism, and in her clinical work with children who communicate with no words.
