The WBCP brings over 75 years of commitment and innovation to the field of psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic training.

The Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis is partially funded by the generosity of tax-deductible gifts made to three funds, providing support for those seeking treatment and those seeking training, and bringing proper attention to our diversity initiatives.

Community Treatment Fund

All donations to the Community Treatment Fund will be used to provide reduced fee treatment to those in our community who otherwise would not be able to afford it.

Benefactors Fund

All donations to the Benefactors Fund will be used to fund special initiatives that advance the mission of the organization as determined by the Board of Directors.

General Scholarship Fund

This fund provides support based on financial need to any students for whom tuition would be overly burdensome without financial assistance, and to facilitate training for those employed in community settings working with underserved populations.

Wallwork Fund

This fund, named after Ernest Wallwork, Ph.D, to honor him for his generosity in making a large initial donation to this fund, is available to selected students from backgrounds that have been historically underrepresented at our Center.
